As
it is well known in the issue of 'ISO 26000 (Social
responsibility)' of the International Standard Organization
(ISO). ISO 26000(Social responsibility), the social
responsibility of enterprise became an essential
factor regarding global enterprise. We determined
that a simple donation or a social service activity
alone were not sufficient enough in order to carry
the social responsibilities of an enterprise.
We have set forth a plan to develop a special social
contribution business differentiated in order to
realize the enterprise principle of our own aiming
at 'human-friendly and environment friendly'. Therefore,
we concluded from the start of the project that
「Free from atopy」(world without atopic dermatitis)
would help the children suffering from atopic dermatitis
in conjunction the Korea Green Foundation, which
is the largest environmental NGO in Korea. We will
provide medical treatment of atopic dermatitis through
this project, improve the life environment causing
atopic dermatitis, and to volunteer by educating
about seriousness of atopic dermatitis and its prevention
to everyone. |
| |
| - What is atopy |
This word
derives from the Greek word 'atopos (Improper, peculiar)',
which means allergic overreaction caused by genetic
or environmental causes, resulting in asthma etc.
It causes severe skin troubles and itching, as well
as mental stress caused by them such as anthrophobia,
melancholia, and a decrease in brain power. Hypersensitivity,
the decrease of learning ability due to lack of
concentration and the stunting of growth in children
are also major side-effects. |
