Jebel Ali Power Plant in Dubai
Project Overview
KOMIPO provided professional consulting service to Hyundai E&C, the selected EPC contractor for the Jebel Ali Power Plant of the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority. With this project, Hyundai E&C constructed a 1,200MW-capacity power plant and a 5,500-gallon desalination & power plant over a period of 20 months.

Indonesia Java 9 & 10 Coal-Fired Power Plant Technical Advisory Project
Project Overview
The Jawa 9&10 Power Project is a supercritical coal-fired power generation project with a total installed capacity of 2,000MW (1,000MW × 2units), currently under construction at a large-scale power generation complex located in Suralaya, west of Jakarta, on the island of Java, Indonesia.
In October 2020, Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. (KOMIPO) entered into a technical advisory agreement with the project’s local company, PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT), to provide services covering construction management, operation, and maintenance for the Java 9 & 10 power plants.
Through the export of power plant operation and maintenance technologies over a 15-year period, the project is expected to generate approximately KRW 50 billion in technical advisory revenues.
In addition, this project is being carried out as a large-scale collaborative initiative utilizing Korean industrial capabilities, including EPC contractors, project owners, and O&M companies. It is expected to significantly contribute to the overseas market expansion of Korean SMEs supplying equipment and materials, as well as to job creation.
